For EV drivers who require extended mileage, and to avoid parking and wait at a Public or Private Charging station, my suggestion is that Ford could sell a supplemental OEM portable Battery block encased in safety insulated material that would add 10-20 miles of charge. The power unit would be a removable item. The unit can be left charging in the garage or at the most frequented non charging POI . The unit would be picked up when the car batteries run low. In this way the EV owner can be confident to avoid delays in recharging the car and use the supplemental unit immediately by plugging the extra power unit in the trunk with a special adaptor. This unit would supplement the residual car power when the Main power source hits Low Battery or aggregate additional mileage to existing residual power.
