GM, just presented a new mid sized truck to the market place. Why, oh why, hasn't Ford considered the same. I had a 2001 Ranger that I sold to a friend that now has almost 200,000 miles with minor maintenance and repairs. I have read that this segment, according to Ford, is not profitable.
Ford, I believe is missing the fact that there is a considerable market for this type of vehicle, and least of not which would be a segway to larger trucks for the Ford loyalists. I wish I could by a new Ranger, you sell many outside the states that are larger than the one I had, but not as big as the F-150.
Don't let GM or Toyota take what could be a core customer and walk away from your products. Loyality is the key to success.
