My wife and I believe that a pet ramp option on SUV's and cross over vehicles would be both widely used and could be a profitable option for Ford on behalf of dog owners. Given that many "baby boomers" have owned dogs for many years or are thinking about owning a dog given their empty nest circumstances, this feature would be far better than trying handle a separate dog ramp. Given achy backs and other ailments we believe that there could be a significant demand and it would once again set Ford apart from the competition. The ramp could also be used for luggage on wheels and other items which are heavy to lift.
