On trucks, make the passenger seat removable and reverseable by pulling the seat towards the passenger door after unlocking the seat from the floor holders (runners), which run left to right (rather than front to back). The seat can then be either left out of the truck for more storage space (I would think most drivers would leave the seat out since they are usually lone riders) or put back in backwards, to be used as a child safety seat.
