Its 2014 and I can't believe the Big Three truck makers still have not figured out the importance of some on board storage. When you buy a standard cab truck you have an on board storage area by default (behind the seat), but if you buy a Ford extended cab or the Ford Quad cab, you are punished for this upgrade. I should not have to buy a cheesy plastic bin that bolts under my back seat or have to buy a wheel well toolbox just to have a place to put a tow chain, jumper cables, first aid kit, small tool bag, and snow chains. Even the Honda mini pickup truck has an under bed storage area that could fit a deer. Whats up with that?
Install an under cab access door under the back seat for a moderately sized storage bin and make your truck the better choice.
