I see many people saying ford should make a new mini van, well with the transit coming state side in 2013 they should design a sub model aimed at family's that want to do light towing, haul 7+ passengers and get good fuel economy all while having a comfortable ride that is cheaper than the new explorer.

Khalil Williams I believe that Ford could use the Transit Connect as that kind of five-to-seven passenger van, as well as the Euro-spec Ford Galaxy. I especially think that the Galaxy could definitely fit those specific purposes given its space and storage capacity for a multipurpose vehicle its' size and its' family of engines, especially diesel engines. From what I understand, they could be potentially full of torque, thus giving good pulling and towing power, all while delivering decent fuel consumption/economy numbers in US mpg (not using the Euro mpg/fuel consumption numbers as mpg numbers). 4 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Ron decline to state Terrific idea! The shortest version of the current UK Transit is actually shorter than a standrd "mini" van, but as a family van would have way more useful space. 4 months(s) ago via Ford Social
