The F-150 is too big, the Ranger too small, how about an F-100 that would be just right?

George N Great idea, but Ford already killed the Ranger. Their rational was that it was "too close" to the F150 and shared the marketplace. Apparently, the Ranger had become not only a medium size truck, but also a full size. I'm not sure how Ford came to this decision, but apparently the Ranger competed with the F150. So for now, Ford has no light or medium size truck.
If you remember your history, the Ranger started life as the F100 Ranger, which then became the "Ranger". Maybe it will be reborn as such. 1 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Anthony Lombardy Ford is definitely missing the boat on this one. A lot of current Ford pickup owners, and want to be owners, would love to have a true mid-size option. It would also take the place of the Sport-Trac, which was a good idea. 3 months(s) ago via Ford Social
