Keep the Ranger in USA alive!

Please give us the "Global" Ranger, not everyone needs a full size truck! I live in the city, space is at a premium. There are SO many things you could do to keep it viable here. If it's done the right way, the F-150's market share won't be hurt at all, and the Ranger's market share could increase. There's a lot of reasons why the Ranger has been the best selling compact truck forever!

James Dunn Good Idea, But make sure Ford does not get too futuristic!!! by keeping the Ranger simple & stylish/ Not like their European or Australian models. My recommendations for Ford is for the new modeled truck ...would be to make sure that they use their designs of their 2003,2004, & 2011 Ford Ranger Edge Truck & the New Designs of the 2011-2012 Ford F-150 Ecoboost & Lariet models...they can mix the ideas in the new modeled truck. Also Juston P. has some good ideas about using a 1.6 or 2.0 Ecoboost Engine in the new models, which would be the right way to go. If Juston ever reads this note..Good Job Buddy..Keep up the Good Work..& Keep on Fighting for Us. Thanks for reading, Jay :)

Robert Todd I wish people would stop using the word "Probe". It stirs up emotions in the accountants that tried to kill the Mustang and there may be some of those people with Ford yet Don't get them started

Nick Van Dine Yep, the Global Ranger with the 3.2l TDI would be my next truck if I could get one in the USA. Looks like I will be buying another Tacoma, or maybe a Colorado instead.

russell martin redesign...make it slightly wider so i can haul utv...add crew cab and 2.0 ecoboost...that would be my next vehicle

Gary Christner The Global Ranger looks like its a uniboby based on a car to me, and that's not a Ranger. I believe if Ford would put the Mustang V6 in the current Ranger with 300 HP and 30 MPG it could be easily done and sell very well. The end of the Ranger is just as big of a mistake as when they almost replaced the Mustang with the Probe just UNBELIEVABLE!

Tom A. The market share thing is bull. How is it bad to increase overall sales of your brand, regardless of which model people buy? Sounds like a flimsy excuse to me. Where is my 2.0L EcoBoost 4x4 Ranger with start-stop technology?!?
