Bio-diesel and sometimes petrol diesel tend to gel up in the cold and make starting up a pain. With an Insulated fuel system (wrap the lines and the tank) and a plug in heating element running on an extension cord like a block heater, the fuel could be warmed above the gel point to make for more efficient cold starts. Because diesel is not explosive in nature proper venting and electrical control could ensure safety.
