The idea here is to use the same technology used with cameras for backing up a vehicle. Only you would have the cameras in place so that you can see on the monitor as you approach for parking near a wall or other vehicles. Lexus uses this with sensors already, but no cameras. Just an idea that will prevent fender benders....
