Americans are the most obese people in the world. Over 30% of us are obese. Why is it when 1/3rd of your potential customers are plus size, you create vehicles with ever smaller interior space? High consoles between seats, narrow bucket seats with restricted seat travel. Door panels that intrude into your leg space. All of these things add up to a very uncomfortable ride. Smaller cars, greater fuel efficiency are fantastic but it would be real nice if more people could be comfortable while driving them.
