There is a problem keeping the engine compartment clean when the road is wet in my new Lincoln MKS. Water is sprayed over the radiator into the engine compartment by other cars passing by. This is really bad in the winter when there is salt mixed with the spray. A heat resistant mat could be placed between the radiator and the upper plastic support to keep the spray out.
