Auto-park windshield wipers
When you turn the car off, have the windshield wipers complete their cycle and then return to their parked position at their lowest point on the windshield instead of the wipers stopping anywhere on the windshield at the time when the engine was turned off. This would keep the windshield motor from trying to move the wipers if the wipers get frozen to the windshield in the winter because they were't in their parked position.
