2011 EDGE: only TWO console cup holders..And the MP3 Player has to sit in ONE

2011 Ford EDGE: I am looking for a new (used) car and am interested in the 2011 Edge. My concern is that when I connect my MP3 player to the console "input"..where do I "sit" my player ? it appears the only place is in one of the TWO (only?) front seat console cup holders, leaving only ONE CUP HOLDER for long trips. I see the Toyota VENZA has a -dedicated- MP3 holder built into its dashboard and has a multi function console with more options than the "plain ol' " console on the EDGE. Dont let TOYOTA pass you by ! Q: so is it true..MP3 in one cupholder, leaving only ONE for a single cup. Also, the cup holder(s) don't look wide enough for the LARGE drink sizes these days Correct ? A USB input for the Entertainment system would be nice instead of just the LINE input

Patrick Q Not sure what kind of Edge you purchased. My 2011 Edge Limited has 2 USB connections inside the center console. Plug the ipod into one of them and leave it in the console. From that point I simply use SYNC to play the music from the iPod. My Edge also has a "shelf" behind the Infotainment system that I could put it
