Revealed: All-New 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor

Meet the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor. Not only is it an all-new truck in the Blue Oval family, but it packs some serious V8 punch – except in a V6 package. In fact, the Tremor is the world’s first EcoBoost®-powered sport truck.

The Tremor is a short-wheelbase regular cab that immediately grabs the eye, thanks to an FX Appearance Package. Unique boxside Tremor graphics, unique 20-inch flat-black wheels and black badges with red lettering are among the special features giving the truck its stealth and stylish look.

Inside, there’s a flow-through center console and bucket seats – noteworthy for a regular cab F-150. Black leather seating surfaces with red piping, a red-stitched steering wheel and Alcantara seat inserts also set the F-150 apart.

Exciting news is that the Tremor is powered by EcoBoost – the 3.5-liter engine makes 365 horspeower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Paired to the engine is another distinctive component: a launch-optimized 4.10 rear axle, making it the shortest final drive ratio offered in an EcoBoost-equipped F-150. An electronic locking rear differential is standard for both the two- and four-wheel-drive Tremor, for improved traction during takeoff.

The Tremor also utilizes MyFord Touch® powered by SYNC®, a floor shifter and class-exclusive HID headlamps.

The pickup goes on sale this fall.

L.J. Dunn It looks Great, but the future Tremor, Really needs to have a Flare Side-Step Side Model with a 4x4 & Extra Cab Model. Hopefully Ford will make that soon for the 2015-2016 models. Have a Happy New Years Everyone, LJD :)

Marcia This is not a Ranger compact truck. It's an F150 with a short bed. Someone is missing the point of us country girls who want to haul stuff for the yard or our airplane without lifting into a high bed and haul a lawn mower. Plus if you wear a skirt you can get in and out of a Ranger without showing the world what's "underneath".

Dominic P Stop trying to sell the F-150 to Ranger buyers. Just come out with an all-new (domestic) Ranger already.

Shawn K I know they are marketing this thing as a sport truck but with a 4.10 rear pared with the Ecoboost I wonder what this thing will be rated to tow?

jean rod Great looking truck. But my thinking is that it's an upgraded Sports Trac, since Ford stop making that truck.

J. Harley M LOVE IT!! Smaller isn't necessarily bad!!

Jim M I would like to know what the final drive ratio is. 4:10 is great off of the line but cruising at highway speeds the rpm's are too high. = poor mileage.
