Ford Social Fans Show Off Their Trucks
JAN

It doesn’t take more than a glance at the Ford Trucks Facebook page to see that fans are passionate about the F-Series trucks. This passion exists for a number of reasons, but a lot of the time it’s simply because the men and women who drive Ford Trucks are proud to do so.

Luckily for us, many F-Series owners are also Ford Social fans and want to share the story of their particular truck and why they love it. So in order to celebrate the passion and pride of our F-Series fans, we put together a list of our favorite trucks, and their stories, as told by you.

Do you have a Built Ford Tough truck that you want to show off? Brag away, by submitting a story!

Up to the Task

These Ford Trucks are ready to take on anything. They don’t know the meaning of the word quit. Time and time again these trucks are asked to do extraordinary things, and they don’t disappoint.

  • Luis C. drives what he calls “The Texas Beast.” Working for a door and trim company means hauling heavy loads. But living and working in the Lone Star State also means long miles and high heat. Luis asks a lot of his Ford, and it’s never let him down.
  • The only thing that works as hard as Addison does is his Ford truck. Life on the farm isn’t easy, and there’s always work to be done. His Super Duty pickups are up at 5:30am every day and don’t stop until the job is done.
  • Work hard, play hard. It doesn’t matter if you’re hauling for business or for fun; a heavy load is a heavy load. Chris G.’s F-250 tows a packed 5th wheel camper across the state of Texas and doesn’t flinch. That’s one tough truck.

To the Rescue

When disaster strikes, sometimes there’s an F-Series that can swoop in and save the day. These Ford trucks and their owners were there to lend a helping hand when someone needed it.

  • One fateful day in 2012, with Hurricane Sandy bearing down on the eastern seaboard, Jeff G. and his 2012 Lariat evacuated the family to higher ground. Once the wife and kids were safe, the brave duo set upon the streets of Rhode Island helping others find shelter, water, food and help wherever they could.
  • Remember that time when a Ford Social member rescued that group of 40 Marines that were on their way to being deployed overseas? Read all about how their charter bus got stuck on an icy freeway onramp, but were rescued by an F-150 that towed them to safety.
  • Speaking of snow, John S. and his F-150 4×4 came to the aid of a number of stranded motorists during a particularly bad snow storm a couple of years ago. It took more than 10 inches of snow and white-out conditions to prevent him from helping 8 cars in just a couple of hours.

High Mileage F-Series, By the Numbers

All it takes to communicate the history and standing of a truck is one number. Nothing else conveys the history and service of F-Series trucks than seeing how many miles they’ve acquired. Each one of the numbers below is a story of its own, a tale of service, loyalty and dependability.
