Celebrating Our Ford Fathers
JUN
14

For many of us, Ford runs in the family. It’s a tradition that’s passed down from generation to generation and if Ford is a big part of your family, there’s a good chance that a father or grandfather is at the root of that tradition.

Maybe you and your pops worked weekends on a restoration project. Maybe you have some fond memories of trips in the family Ford with dad behind the wheel. Either way, there are a lot of stories out there. So today, thanks to our great Ford Social fans, we can share some of our favorites with you as we celebrate our Ford Fathers.

Dad’s First Car Restored

After an exhaustive search, Melissa B. reunites her father with his first car, a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. Together they embark on a father/daughter journey to restore this weather-beaten Pony to its original condition.

Tribute To My Dad.

Debi M. celebrates the memory of her late father by sharing a photo of the Ford Truck that he loved and wanted to pass down to the next generation.

Father’s Day Tribute

For Brienne S. Father’s Day is particularly special. It’s not just because it’s a time to say thanks to dad and grandpa for encouraging a Ford tradition, but also because of a local Father’s Day tradition that helped create lasting, cherished memories.

Father/Daughter Project

Since she was a kid, Amy J. had a little thing for Mustangs. One day, she shared her secret with her dad. As it turns out, he had a fondness for them too. Soon after this Father/Daughter team paired up on a restoration project they wouldn’t soon forget.

Like Father Like Daughter

Chrissy’s dad is a die-hard Mustang fan and his passion is contagious. Her mom and dad both have ponies in the stable, and it won’t be long now until she joins the club making “Team Mustang” a true Ford family.

It’s not too late to join the conversation and share your Father’s Day story! Send us your Ford Father Tribute by submitting a story, or sending us a photo of your Ford Family!

Jim Ford definitely needs to bring back the Ranger. I am very interested in buying the new version presently available in Europe (the Wildcat).

Sam I agree! After years of cars and SUVs I am now in the market for a truck. I have looked at Ridgelines, Avalanches, and even Sport Tracs. But the truck that continues to grab me is the Ford Ranger. I LOVE the size and body style!! But in doing research I discover Ford won't sell them here. I am puzzled because it sounds like people want them and with Sport Tracs and Avalanches out of the market this fits the needs/wants of many people. If the market is there (and every place I have been where the Ranger is discussed backs this up) why not give it a shot...even in a limited capacity. Heck if it wasn't such a hassle I'd go to Mexico and buy one...

Steve Enneking If Ford sold the Ford Ranger pickup truck here in the U.S., I would buy one.
