See These Custom Fords Before Anyone Else!

The entertainment industry has its annual big-deal shindigs, like the Academy Awards, the Emmys and the Tonys. Yet so does the auto industry, but the cars are the stars! The events include auto shows, of course, as well as the SEMA Show, held annually in Las Vegas. SEMA stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association; the CliffsNotes on that is it’s a trade association made up of tons of aftermarket performance companies, from exhaust to bumpers and tires to roof racks, plus anything and everything else located between the headlights and taillights.

Thousands of companies swoop into town to display all their hot, new parts soon headed to the market for you scoop up to make your ride look, sound and perform like a one-of-a-kind show-stopper in its own right. This is one of the rare times you don’t want what happens in Vegas to stay in Vegas! The 2011 SEMA Show will take place November 1-4.

Automakers also participate at SEMA, and Ford will have massive presence, with a booth filled to the rim with multiple project vehicles, each one outfitted with awesome aftermarket parts, ridiculously cool modifications, and eye-grabbing paint and styling cues. There will also be a tribute to the 110 years of Ford racing history and a first look at an all-new 363-cubic-inch Ford Racing stroker engine. And, shhhh…click here for a video of secret footage of a project vehicle being built with the latest Ford-licensed restoration part. Spoiler alert: 1964-66 Mustang fans, it’s your lucky day.

I like the 2011 Ford F-150 by CGS Performance Products: Tarmac F-150, the 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty by Hulst Customs, 2011 Ford Explorer by Stitchcraft Interiors and the 2012 Ford Mustang by H&R Springs they are all great looking machines. The flat no bling machines do not catch my eye, you might sell some of them but not like the stand out ones I noted. none of the other cars I would give a second look. I like the body styles Ford is coming out with these days. I have a 2010 Fusion and didn't see any Fusion mods here!
