A Special Message from Mike Rowe About the new Ford Explorer

We asked Mike Rowe to post a video with a special message to Ford Explorer Facebook fans, telling them everything he knows about the upcoming reveal of the 2011 Ford Explorer. It was a short video. Seems we haven’t shared a lot of details with him. Or anyone, for that matter.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The vehicle will be shown first on the Ford Explorer Facebook page on July 26, 2010
  • The Explorer will be revealed live in Herald Square in New York
  • Mike will be there, as well as Alan Mulally, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company

You might get some sneak peeks from Mike on the Facebook page as he wanders around behind the scenes with his camcorder.

Click here to go to the Ford Explorer Facebook page where you will see the latest news on the 2011 Ford Explorer first.

Sherri Wilkins Sure am glad to see you as spokesperson for Ford..Finally getting back to basics!!! That's a very good thing , by the way. Also, love you with all the guys on Deadliest Catch. Tough Job, but even tougher is and dirtier is you Dirty Jobs. We watch it , laugh and can definately sympathize with you. Many of them, been there, got the shirt, the ball cap, the stink, and/or the memory. I'd love to add a photo of you to my "Wall of shame". you'd join Charlie Daniels, Norm Brinker, Dave Gates, etc...And of course Fess Parker as Baniel Boone in the tub, Got that one up at his winery in CA. Be safe, keep having fun, and please give The Harris's, Sig and the rest out love and prayers always. Best to you always, Sherri Wilkins Oh yea, We still have our 83- F150 w/ 351. finally got that stock carb. off and replaced w/ a 4 barrel Edelbrooke. Our 24 year old Cowgirl still drives her. I drive the 88- F350 Custom-Pulls a 38 ft Teton RV. Folks tend to move when they see a 5'4" Blonde with a Stetson smiling down at them and not moving over. Hey, we drive real friendly in Texas!!! Come on down some time!

install fold down head rests in the ford F150 extended and crew cabs like in the 2008 explorer sport trac. Thats the biggest complaint I hear from the truck owners. The rigid head rests block their vision when driving and especially when backing up.
