On Thursday, August 27, heads turned in New York City as Ford’s President of the Americas, Mark Fields, drove the 2010 Taurus around town. He attended an evening “tweet up” with New York City bloggers who were able to test drive the vehicle. Mark wasn’t the only one getting behind the wheel either. Mark talked to some bloggers in person and others through Ford’s Twitter handle where he answered questions over the course of the two-hour event.  Bloggers like Eric Evarts of Consumer Reports and John Voelcker of The Car Connection used the time to ask Mark about Ford’s plans for the future – especially with regards to electric cars.

Dave Pinter of PSFK wrote about all of the new technology inside the 2010 Taurus SHO after his test drive around Midtown, although city traffic prevented any of the test drivers from getting the full SHO experience.
