Tom B. The 2010 Taurus is a great car......my last 3 cars have been Ford Taurus and they are the best cars I have ever owned! For most of my life I bought Chrysler products until I got a '93 GL Taurus....from that time on I've been hooked! I am very pleased with Ford Motor Co. having not been bailed out by our "oversized" government. I look forward to my next Taurus but truth is it won't be because mine is wore out....none I've owned have worn out! I wouldn't step down to buy any import when I can buy a near perfect USA built FORD!

Ron Diebold My wife has a 1987 Ford Ranger that has 350,000 miles on it, and will not get rid of it. we bought this truck new, and have well pleased with it. It's not the best looking vehicle on thye road, but it is really dependable,, and we are well please with it.

T.R. Steffanson Finally!!!! a CAR WITH STANCE AND QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE. Why did it take so long??? I've always been a GM fan but I'm seriously considering a Taurus in my future. Thanks for designing something I can be proud of.

S M D I have owned many Fords over the years. I have had a 64 fairlane sport coupe,67 mustang fastback, 67 fairlane 500, 83 mustang GLX convertible, 95 mustang convertible, 89 lincoln mark 7 , 95 lincoln lsc ,and a 02 lincoln ls. As you can tell i have experienced Fords evolution through the ages and must say the Fords of today are a far cry from the Fords of the olden days . I'm about due for another but it's too hard to decide. The Lincoln line is totally BAD AS& .The mustangs are even better then last year . And now i see the taurus sho. All i can say is Ford rocks. They keep surprising me with something new. My hat's off to the last remaining truly free American car company.

Kerry C I was disappointed when Ford merged the 500 & the Taurus, as it sort of took away from the Taurus personality. The new features are great, but I'm still not impressed by the looks of the exterior. While BIGGER may be better for some, I think it took something out of the Taurus & the marketing for it seems skewed. When I think Taurus, I think a family car with lots of comfort & a bit of flash, with just enough oomph to not be left in the dust. It seems that current market focus is on the younger generations, who can't swing huge payments on top of a hefty insurance plan. My last Taurus was a 2000 & it's now carting my parents around, still looking sleek & stylish, repairs are still few & far between, speaking a lot for Ford quailty. Our current personal cars are a 2005 Mustang (how's that for a 10th anniversary gift?) & a 2001 f-150 with the Triton V-8. While I dig the features of the new Taurus, it's the exterior design that keeps me away. I do have a mad love for the new 'Stangs though. Anyone willing to donate about $40K so I can order my dream car? No? Didn't think so, but my 05 'Stang keeps me happy & still turns heads & even has non-Ford loving fans. Vroom, vroom: screeeeeeeeech!

Ames That Ford Taurus is pretty B.A.M.F, the only problem with it would be the price, it might be just cause I'm 17, but even if i got a really good co-signer, that car would put me in the poor house pretty quick : p

Johnny B Ford has great products , but in todays market , its not enough, Price has to be extremely competative, the Guarantee must be better than the competition and totaly honored, all the american companies are guilty of cheating the public , people are not stupid , an educated consumer is your best customer , because they gain respect through their knowledge and they recomend good products to other people, Just a simple note , I have a Chrysler touring Van very good no problems,BUT when I go into chrysler for an oil change , they try to sell me just about every conceiveable service , if you insist on only oil change , you can be sure you will wait for your car 2 to 3 hours ,but if you agree to the sales pitch then you are done in less than an hour , this is tipical of american companies , Ford , I wish you luck and hope you iron out all that is wrong especially with the dealers, Johnny B

Bob Ford is great, this Taurus is superb. Ford will capture more market share with this car. I have always bought Fords and will continue.

Bob I have always bought Fords and they have treated me well. I own a 2008 Lincoln MKZ and this new 2010 Taurus has captured some of my Lincoln styling. It is a big plus for Ford and will boost sales for them. Go Ford!!

CCW I'm very happy with the styling direction that Ford is moving and I'm so happy that I can root for the home team again. I'm debating getting a MustangGT at the moment in part because I love the new 2010 body. This new Taurus looks great too. I think the Ford designers have overcome the very difficult challenge of preserving the Ford toughness look while integrating some of the popular Japanese styling elements that have become so popular. The design philosophy seems to be well preserved among all the new models. I like the solid, bold shapes and lines inside and out of all the 2010 models. Well done, guys and gals!!

romulo sarausad Ford is definitely my next car. In the 1950s and 1960s while I was still living in the Philippines, it was all Ford Mustangs and Ford Thunderbirds with few GM cars such as Chevrolet Impala and Bel Air. However, during the last 4 to 5 decades, people were buying Japanese cars. Hopefully, this decade and beyond, Ford will surely regain the superiority of U.S. made cars worldwide without General Motors and Chryslers which are both on bankruptcy situations under Chapter 11 protection.Yes, since 1969 until 2001, I drove 6 different Fords from Ford Maverick in the 1970s to Lincoln Continental (2-Door and 4-Door Models). But now I'm driving 1993 Acura Legend, 1995 Acura Integra and 2004 Dodge Durango. My sons are driving Toyota Lexus and Frius and isuzu Trooper. Despite all these shifting from US made cars to Japanese cars, I have high hopes that Ford cars nowadays with superior qualities are the wave of the future.

jo I'm surprised about what people thought about Ford, I mean yaa, your cars used to be horrible, but they're beautiful and reliable right now. I love the new taurus sho!! It has style, it looks luxurious, and the performance is amazing. A mustang with all these features would be awesome!

Joshua Marshall My nightmare every morning is getting my fuel economical 1991 car creamed in the parking lot (seen it happen too). Now there's something like Cross Traffic Alert? This is true innovation! That's the real spirit of America, and Ford has it!
