Ask Ford
Q.

Is the Mustang likely to be exported to Australia?

A.

The Mustang is one of the most well-known and most-loved Ford products around the world. The global enthusiasm is wonderful. At this point, with the current-generation Mustang sold in the U.S., there are no plans to officially homologate the product for sales in Australia. The current leadership at Ford Motor Company are always looking for ways to be a more global and do a better job of developing products that can benefit Ford customers around the world. As our vice president of global engineering recently said, “As we execute our One Ford strategy, we’re going to look at the global viability of Mustang in other markets.”
